The company's first product, Professional Quest, has become a class-leading product for the design, distribution and analysis of Web-based surveys. The first version of Professional Quest was developed in 1998 in response to a need for high quality survey software that was well-priced, feature-rich and flexible. It entered a marketplace dominated by relatively large companies who had developed products as a lead-in to expensive consulting, or small companies with weak unprofessional offerings. Since it's inception, Dipolar's Professional Quest software has been constantly improved and refined. The software now boasts a number of powerful modules designed for specific survey types, including 360 Degree Feedback surveys and Market Research surveys.

It became clear early on that there was plenty of room for a new, high-quality "out-of-the-box" survey solution, and our flagship Professional Quest range of products has been very successful. This success can be measured by an impressive client base that includes Coles Myer, Commonwealth Bank, CSIRO, Alcan Aluminium, Allianz Insurance, American Red Cross, 3M, Compaq, eBay, Flinders University, FORSCOM, Goldman Sachs & Co, DuPont, Integral Energy, Lion Nathan, NRMA, Department of Defence, RAAF, Rail Infrastructure Corporation, Sprint Communications and the U.S. Department of the Interior.

 

The company has grown substantially since this initial foray into survey software, and now has products in a number of diverse areas including market research panel management and human resources. The two main products to come out of these areas are our Contact Profiler software, and the 360 Degree Dashboard add-on module to Professional Quest.
